  1. Who are these people?

Washington and Sandefur are heavy into investments and real estate. Ketchum has a reality advisement company that I’ll be does (or has done) some work for Washington and Sandefur. Dike keeps books for a whole bunch of real estate folks. And Davlin – well he is a big EMS guy and most likely has no connections to any of the others.

How do you think these recommendations will come out?

Tell me they don’t scratch each other’s backs!

  2. why was tom whitten listed and larry will be the only one who knows all that is going on and will call for the truth…

  3. The voters of BOWIE COUNTY voted to raise your taxes by expanding the college tax base… So are you saying that none of these guys will be a good choice or have any good suggestions… The commissioners and the judge will have the final say.

  4. if you can’t see all of the connections above….and how they might be inclined to make recommendations in their own best interest …

and why little Timmy might be inclined to go along with big real estate guys….

    then you are truly naive.

  5. There will be a difference when we remove another of the Carlow Empire Commissioners. Sammy Stone and Kelley Blackburn are up for re-election in two years. Unless one of them resigns, we’ll have to wait two more years to do that.

  6. I’m sorry. Just to be clear… You are saying that you do not presently or have not in the past provided any advice or services to any of the people on this board or to any of the companies that they are presently or previously been associated with?

  7. Mr. Dike. The day before you were appointed you said that you didn’t think that the creation of the board was a good idea:

    Joe Dike says
    MAY 28, 2014 AT 10:02
Jorge for once I agree with you.

  8. I have never had a personal relationship nor financial relationship with any of the members of this proposed board. I have never received or given money to these people as well. And for you to presume so makes you a liar and a gossip.

  9. I haven’t been appointed yet. It is a bad idea to ask others to do the job you are paid to do. I will work hard to help.

  10. Is one of your clients James Carlow? Carlow has built an empire in and around Bowie County while “serving” as our county judge for 24 years. Many of us think there is a conflict of interest in all of this.

  11. I have no business or personal relationship with James Carlow. His son is a CPA I understand so why would he hire one?

  12. So, you don’t think it’s a good idea for Citizens to do the jobs of elected officials but you’ll take the appointment anyway?

    values….??

  13. I thought Jorge Washington and his group would be happy about this group. TRANSPARENCY… I thought y’all loved that word and sterling lacy has always loved appointing committees… So what is the problem?
