Press Release: The Kathie Glass tour bus is on the road again in the second segment of the “Texas 254 Tour.” The number “254” references the number of counties in Texas. The Libertarian Party candidate for TX governor has vowed to visit each of Texas 254 counties before the November election.
Wednesday, the bus left McDade on its way to Loving County and back with multiple events and stops along the way.
On Sunday, the tour bus will stop in Loving County, the least populous county in the United States, with only 82 residents recorded in the 2010 census. Kathe Glass received 7.35% of the 68 votes cast there for governor in 2010, and intends to increase that greatly in 2014.
The first event Wednesday was Kathie’s appearance in Austin at the American Legion Boys State. The rest of the day was spent with media in Travis County and Williamson County.
Wednesday evening, Kathie hosted a Meet & Greet in Georgetown at the Sun City Activities Center Atrium.
On Thursday, there will be stops and meetings with media in Burnet, Lampasas, Mills, Comanche, and Brown Counties. Plans for a Brownwood Meet & Greet in the evening are in the works.
