Bowie County Commissioners Court was brief this morning.
County Judge James Carlow presided, and the court handled several procedural items, and a couple where their input was needed.
Commissioner Carter moved that Judge Carlow be appointed to the Ark-Tex Council of Governments in a position formerly held by Judge Lacy, and the Court accepted tax rollback refund checks from Glenda Patterson.
I asked Bowie County Treasurer Donna Burns about the tax roll back checks received by the county, and she told me that a total of thirteen checks have been received, for a total of $103.64.
The Court also received an update on the Highway 82 project, with an estimated completion date of early in August, before school starts.
