Spring is a great time to get outside and work on your landscape! Well-planned and maintained landscaping is an asset to your home and adds to that all-important ‘curb appeal’. If you are eager to get out and exercise your green thumb, make plans now to attend the Bowie County Master Gardener’s Spring Plant Sale on Saturday, April 11th.

The sale will be held at T & P Trail Head Park (Highway 82 and Ellis Street) in New Boston. The sale begins at 8 AM and will end at 2 PM (or when we sell out).

A few of the many offerings at this year’s sale include: Crinum Lily, Tiger Lily, Trees, Lenten Rose, Solomon’s Seal, Rose Campion, Lemon Grass and Feverfew. Most of the plants in the sale have been grown locally by our Master Gardeners.

Bowie County Master Gardeners is a 501C3 volunteer organization that strives to educate the public about horticulture through educational programs and community-oriented projects.
