Obituary - Ellen HarringtonEllen Doraleen Harrington was born March 13, 1944 at home in Valliant, to Noah Tatum and Eula Emmaline Tidmore Tatum. She took her heavenly flight on July 2, 2015 at her home in Broken Bow.

Affectionately known to many as Nanny, she was of the Jesus Name faith and loved to spread the word to anyone that would listen. Nanny loved to fish, quilt and take care of all of her babies. She raised many children, other than her own. She devoted most of the last nine years taking care of her grandson Zane and teaching him the words of Jesus and the last five years the same with her great-grandson, Kyler. They spent many hours sitting at the table reading the bible to each other.

Ellen and Roy Harrington were married for 44 years, having married in Clarksville, Texas on October 15, 1970.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two children, Linda Sue Boulton and Roy Dale Harrington, Jr.

She leaves to cherish her memory her husband Roy Dale Harrington of the home; sons and daughters, Johnny Sr. and Debra Jo Boulton, Pabe and Amy Harrington and David and Kendra Harrington, Debbie Kay Boulton and Royce “Sissy” Harrington all of Broken Bow; sisters and brothers Willa Mae and Harold Stanley of Texarkana, Texas and Joyce Carter and Ray Tatum both of Broken Bow; grandchildren, Misty Cunningham, Dawn Morris, Bradley Boulton, Jeremy Boulton, Amee Copeland, Denise Culp, Johnny Boulton, Jr., Heather Ellen Brittain, Josee Vaughn, Jerri Sue Harrington, Graci Bean, Pabra Harrington, Madison Harrington, Zane Harrington, David Harrington, Jr., Rio Jackson, Blaze Harrington and Race Harrington and Kannen Musgrove; 19 great-grandchildren; mother-in-law, Etta Harrington of Broken Bow; and many nieces, nephews, friends and family. Special brother and sister in Christ, Dean and Linda Williams and their son, Scott Denton.

Visitation will be held Sunday, July 5, 2015 from 2 to 4 pm at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home.

Graveside services will be held Monday, July 6, 2015 at 10am at Broken Bow Cemetery, with Debra Jo Boulton officiating.
