James Sullivan age 82, of Atlanta, Texas, died Monday, July 13, 2015 in a Texarkana, Texas hospital.
James was born June 4, 1933 in Cass County, Texas to Harley and Marcie O’Kelley. He was the retired owner of Sullivan Insurance Agency and a retired welder. He was a member of First Baptist Church Atlanta, Texas, served in the United States Army, loved raising and riding horses, reading and watching old westerns, and spending time with family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harley and Marcie O’Kelley and a grandson, Timothy Dubuisson.
He is survived by his wife, Meda Lou Sullivan of Atlanta, Texas; two sons, Ricky Sullivan and wife Melanie of Atlanta, Texas, Randy Sullivan and wife Wendy of Atlanta, Texas; a daughter, Vicki Dubuisson and husband Donald of Atlanta, Texas; a brother, Jewel Sullivan and wife Barbara of Texarkana, Texas; four grandchildren, Brandon Dubuisson, Jeff, Casey, and Addisyn Sullivan; and seven great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 10:00 am, Thursday, July 16, 2015, in the Hanner Funeral Chapel with Bro. James Wallace officiating.
Visitation will be Wednesday, July 15, 2015 from 6 pm to 8 pm at Hanner Funeral Service.
