Fouke, AR. The Citizens for a Better Community will hold an ice cream social this Saturday August 13, from 4p.m. to 6p.m. Mayor Terry Purvis posted the notice on his Facebook page earlier today. The gathering will be held at the Fouke Community Center also known as the Stanley Davis Community Center in Fouke, Arkansas.
Donations will be accepted and all funds raised will go toward the Town Square Project. The community is encouraged to attend and support this event. According to Mayor Purvis they will have the “best homemade ice cream on the planet.” We consider that a huge claim; however, regardless of claims, the event is sure to be fun for everyone in a positive family atmosphere. So if you’re looking for something to do Saturday afternoon, take the short trip out to the Fouke Community Center, enjoy some fellowship and ice cream and consider making a small donation toward this great project!
