
Neighborhood Clean-Up and Block Party October 10
Bridging The Gaps of Arkansas and partners plan clean up in Texarkana, Arkansas.

Texarkana, AR: Bridging The Gaps of Arkansas will partner with the City of Texarkana, Arkansas, and Keep Arkansas Beautiful to sponsor a city clean-up on October 10, 2020. The event will start at 209 E. 14th Street, in Texarkana, Arkansas at 9 a.m. It is planned to go through 11:30 a.m. that day.
The Sandflat Glendale Community Center, located at 209 E. 14th Street, will serve as the host site. DJ HollyGrove will provide music on-site during the event and trash bags, masks, and gloves will be provided. Those wishing to participate may also bring their own mask and gloves if they would prefer.
There will be food, music, and fun as the organization and those participating work to clean up Texarkana, Arkansas. The mission of the organization is to “Bridge The Gaps between the Body of Christ and Jesus Christ. They are committed to making, teaching, and sending disciples for Jesus Christ to the world by being a loving expression of His love and truth.”
The clean up will be from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and followed up by a RAAD (Rise Above Alcohol and Drugs) Community Block Party at 11:30 a.m. Bridging the Gaps of Arkansas has partnered with the University of Little Rock, Midsouth Center for Prevention and Training to host the block party immediately following the clean-up event. Admission is free to the block party and food will be provided. The block party will also feature custom masks and T-Shirts for each person in attendance. The block party is expected to last until 1:30 p.m.

If possible, the community is encouraged to register online to provide an expected count; however, registration is not required and all are welcome to join.
