TAXATION GRIEF, PART III

Mourning Coffee, by Tracy Renee Lee

Because COVID 19 ravaged many levels of our existence, its affects encompass losses of life, income, friendship, companionship, jobs, homes, self-esteem, etc. These losses usher grief into our lives.

Grief is a wild beast. It is bigger than you are and it infiltrates all aspects of your life and soul. Because of the enormity of grief, it is recommended that you enlist the assistance of someone or something bigger than yourself.

In my last article, I promised to share with you the secret to drawing on your inner strength to overcome the ravages of grief. By far, my clients have told me that the greatest assistance they receive is the profound peace and strength found through prayer.

If you are not a Christian, prayer may take on the form of meditation or inward conversation with a being other than Christ. Where ever you turn for spiritual strength, turn there now. If you have never relied upon spiritual strength before, reach out to someone that you know who has the gift of spiritual strength and ask for help. This sole action on your part will bring you the greatest assistance available to you.

The first step that you must employ is to rid yourself and your life of negativity and disbelief.  If you have friends who do not believe in the miracle of prayer, do not involve them in this endeavor.  If you do not believe in the power of prayer, wipe your life clear of disbelief and engulf yourself in its practice.

Prayer, reflection, and meditation will clear your mind and soul from the bondage of grief. You will receive enlightenment and direction, and your soul will rejoice as you realize your movement away from pain and anguish.  Prayer is stronger than you are.  It will draw the powers of heaven down into your life.  It will bring you back to a place of joy and functioning.

Pray for strength, guidance, and recovery. Be specific. Ask exactly for what you need. If you need employment, pray for employment. Ask for recovery, that the pain, fear, and confusion sustained from such a chaotic and dreadful year will leave your soul, and that peace, confidence, and foresight will return to you. Listen to the inspiration that you receive and act upon it immediately. If you will do this, your life will change.

The blessings of peace and recovery are within your reach. All you have to do is to ask in faith and God will reveal to you the pathway to recovery. Once you have your answers, you must act without delay and without fear and you will be delivered from your pain. It may not happen instantly, it may take a while for you to be comfortable and recognize spiritual inspiration, but it is there for all of us. It may also take a while for you to let go of your fear and strike out on your divine road map to recovery.

I believe in the power of prayer. I believe in the healing powers and peace found through Christ. I believe that the divine powers of heaven will pour down upon those who ask of God in faith and humility. I believe in these principles because I have experienced their miracles over and over again in my life.  And, I believe they are there for you too.  All you have to do is believe, ask, receive, and act.
