REDWATER HIGH SCHOOL ART STUDENT’S WORK SELECTED FOR YOUTH ART MONTH EXHIBIT IN AUSTIN

Redwater, TX – Cambria McWillliams, Redwater High School sophomore art student, has had her work selected to be part of the Texas Arts Education Association (TAEA) Youth Art Month Exhibition. McWilliams’ art was one of an estimated 100 Pre-K through 12th-grade works of art selected from across the state to be featured in the display.
The 2023 exhibit was held in March at the Bob Bullock Texas State History Museum.
McWilliams’ art is a self-portrait using acrylic paint. She feels that the portrait is “playful and whimsical conveying her fun and bright personality.”
McWilliams was honored during the Youth Art Month Celebration & Reception in Austin on March 12.
